The year 2019 has been a year when our Section of Asia has been blessed in many ways. We have seen new confreres entering our Society who originate from our Section. We were privileged to journey with the rest of the Society celebrating our 150th Anniversary of foundation.

Feast of St. Bakhita

On the 8th of February, the Church is celebrating the feast of Saint Bakhita and, at this occasion, proposes to all Christians a day of prayer and reflection on Human Trafficking. You will find hereafter a suggestion for a prayer vigil, as well as a prayer card to be printed and distributed to the faithful.

Oath & Declaration of Intent in Jerusalem

On Tuesday, 26th November, our Confrere, Cardinal Michael Fitzgerald, received the Final Oath of Patient Balma and Nelson Ekeh, as well as the renewal of the Declaration of Intent of Audace Niyibigira, Belito Jose Joaquim, Isac Kinda and Thierry Uyirwoth in the new Chapel of St. Anne’s in Jerusalem. Congratulations to all.

Frans Bouwen honorary member of Pro Oriente
