Andreas Edele
on 22nd July 2017 at Krankenhaus – Balingen (Germany)
at the age of 83 years, of which 58 years of missionary life
in Malawi, Zambia and Germany.

Milestones of Father Andreas Edele’s life
Andreas was born on the 24th January 1934 at Haigerloch, in the Diocese of Freiburg/B. On the 5th September 1955, he joined the Spiritual Year in Alexandia Bay (U.S.A). He then went on with his theological studies at Eastview (Canada) where he took his Missinary Oath on the 20th June 1959 and was ordained a priest on the 19th September 1959.
