informs you of the return to the Lord of Brother
Cornelius (Kees) Akkermans
on Monday the 18th September 2017 at Mbezi (Tanzania)
at the age of 87 years, of which 64 years of missionary life
in Tanzania.

Milestones of Brother Cornelius Akkermans’ life
Brother Kees (Cornelius) was born on the 30th September 1929 at Teteringen, in the diocese of Breda in the Netherlands. He entered in the Spiritual Year on the 7th September 1951 in ‘s-Heerenberg, where he pronounced his Temporary Missionary Oath on the 6th August 1953. Six years later, on the 29th August 1959, he took his Final Missionary Oath in Boechout (Netherlands)
