Karel Watteeuw
on Sunday the 5th of February 2017 at Avondrust-Varsenare (Belgium)
at the age of 92, of which 65 years of missionary life
in Rwanda and in Belgium.

Milestones of Father Karel Watteeuw’s life.
Karel Watteeuw was born on the 5th November 1924 at Roeselare in the Diocese of Brugge, in Belgium. Il began his Spiritual Year on the 22nd September in Varsenare, took his Missionary Oath in Heverlee on the 21st July 1951 and was ordained to the priesthood in Heverlee on the 12th April 1952.
