Maurice Borrmans
on Tuesday the 26th December 2017 at Bry-sur-Marne (France)
at the age of 92 years, of which 69 years of missionary life
in Tunisia, Algeria, at Bahreïn, in Italia and in France.

Milestones of Father Maurice Borrmans’ life
Maurice was born on the 22nd October 1925 at Lille, in France, in the diocese of the same name. He entered the Spiritual Year of the Missionaries of Africa on the 24th December 1945 at Maison-Carrée in Algeria. He then continued his theological training at Thibar, in Tunisia, where he took his Missionary Oath on the 29th June 1948 and was ordained a priest on the 1st February 1949.
