Warm greetings from all of us here in Rome!!
Please find by following this link WHAT WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR so eagerly and for a long time: the new SECTION OF ASIA, abbreviated as SOA.
The Procès Verbal consists of three parts
- The creation of the new Section
- The promulgation of the Statutes
- The Appointment of the first Delegate Superior, John Gould.
I congratulate him and all of you (= all of us!!) with this important event. John will already participate in the Meeting of the General Council with the Provincials and Delegate Superiors in a few weeks’ time (February 6th – 11th for those whom we affectionately call, the “Baby Provincials and Delegate Superiors”, then from 13th – 19th February for all).
May God bless the new Section, and may it be able to contribute immensely to the Mission of the Church (also) through our Society to Africa, the African world and where our Charisms lead us to!!
