at the age of 86 years, of which 65 years of missionary life
in Zambia and in Canada.

Milestones in Brother Arthur Charpentier’s life

Arthur was born on the 25th of December 1931 in Drummondville, in the Diocese of Nicolet, in Canada. He entered the St. Martin’s Novitiate (Spiritual Year) of the Missionaries of Africa on the 31st of July, 1952 at Montreal (Canada). Being a brother candidate, Arthur took a temporary oath at the end of his novitiate, on the 31st of July 1954. Six years later, on the 5th of August 1960, he took his final Missionary Oath in Lennoxville (Canada).
