From September 1 to 22, 2024, 15 Missionaries of Africa, representing 12 countries and working in 15 different parts of the world, gathered in Nairobi at St Charles Lwanga Missionaries of Africa Provincial House to share their experiences from the early years of missionary work.

Episcopal Ordination of Bishop Francis Bomansaan

On the 2nd of August 2024, the faithful of the Catholic Diocese of Wa, had the joy of witnessing a very rare ceremony, the Episcopal Ordination of their new Shepherd, Bishop Francis Bomansaan. This ceremony quenched their thirst for a leader, since the death of late Bishop, Cardinal Richard Baawobr, M.Afr. on the 27th of November 2022.

60th anniversary of the canonisation of the Ugandan Martyrs

This year we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the canonisation of the Ugandan Martyrs. They were canonised by Pope Paul VI on the 18th October 1964 in St. Peter’s, Rome. We thank and praise the Lord for the gift of our Martyrs and the many fruits that we have received and are still receiving from the story of their lives, martyrdom and canonisation, especially the spiritual and moral fruits.
