at the age of 85 years, of which 59 years of missionary life
in Burkina Faso and in France.

Milestones of Father Charles Sarti’s life
Charles was born on the 15th of May 1932 at Leggiuno-Sang in Italy. But he emigrated with his parents to France where he aquired the French nationality and registered in the Diocese of Châlons. He began the Spiritual Year on the 27th of September 1954 at Maison-Carrée (Algeria) and continued his theological studies at Carthage (Tunisia) where he took his Missionary Oath on the 2nd of February 1958 and was ordained to the priesthood on the 18th of June 1958.
