Conference of Sr. Denise Rachel Kambire (in French)

This first conference organized by the Roman Committee as part of the 150th anniversary of the Lavigerie Family was given by Sister Denise Rachel Kambire, Franciscan Missionary of Mary of Burkina Faso. She was a missionary in Congo Brazaville and Congo Kinshasa before taking up residence in Rome where she is researching the founding Mother of her congregation, Sister Mary of the Passion. This research made her discover the interaction that existed between this Breton founder, with a strong character, and another French personality … namely our founder Charles Cardinal Lavigerie.
