Gilbert Gryspeerdt
on Friday the 16th of March, 2018 at Bruges
at the age of 82 years, of which 58 years of missionary life
in Burundi, Rwanda and in Belgium.

Milestones of Brother Gilbert Gryspeerdt’s life
Gilbert was born on the 24th June 1935 in Roeselare, in the Diocese of Bruges (Belgium). He entered the Spiritual Year on the 1st August 1957 in ‘s-Heerenberg in the Netherlands. He continued his formation in Varsenare where he pronounced his temporary Missionary Oath on the 2nd August 1959. He pronounced his Final Oath in Bujumbura (Burundi) on the 10th August 1965.
