informs you of the return to the Lord of Father
Lukas Gundi
on Sunday the 30th July 2017 at Foyer St. Joseph de Sierre (CH)
at the age of 86 years, of which 61 years of missionary life
in Zambia and in Switzerland.

Milestones of Father Lukas Gundi’s life
Lukas was born on 18th october 1930 at Niederwald, in the Diocese of Sion-Sitten (South of Switzerland). He began the spiritual year on the 27th September 1952 at Maison-Carrée (Algiers) and went on with his theological studies at ‘s-Heerenberg (Netherlands) where he took his Missionary Oath on the 24th July 1956. He was ordained to the priesthood at Monteviot (Scotland) on the 16th May 1957.
