on Wednesday 9th January 2019 in the hospital of Pau (France)
at the age of 95 years, of which 69 years of missionary life
in Burkina Faso, Rwanda, South Africa and France.

Milestones in the life of Father Pierre du Suau de la Croix
Pierre was born in Le Houga, a town in the Armagnac region in the diocese of Auch, France. He was admitted to the novitiate of the White Fathers at Maison-Carrée in Algeria on November 25, 1941. He continued his academic training in Thibar, Tunisia, where he took his missionary oath on January 30, 1949 and was ordained a priest on June 30, 1949.
