on Thursday 22nd February, 2018 at Lyon (France)
at the age of 92 years, of which 66 years of missionary life
in Tanzania and in France.

Stepstones of Father Pierre Durieux’s life
Pierre was born on the 7th December, 1925 in Soucieu-Jarret, in the Diocese of Lyon (France). He did his Spiritual Year at Maison-Carrée in Algeria from the 1st October 1947, and went on with his theological training at Monteviot (Scotland) where he took his Missionary Oath on the 29th May, 1951 and was ordained priest on the 31st May 1952.
