at the age of 88 years, of which 63 years of missionary life
in Burundi and in Belgium.

Milestones of the live of Father René Konings
René Konings was born on the 9th of June 1929 at Essen in the Diocese of Antwerpen (Belgium). He joined the Spiritual Year on the 21st of September 1950 at Varsenare (Belgium), Went on with his studies at Heverlee (Belgium) where he took his Missionary Oath on the 10th July 1954 and was ordained to the Priesthood on the 10th of April 1955.
