informs you of the return to the Lord of Brother
Christian Schneider
on Wednesday 9th August 2017 at the Hospital of Balingen
at the age of 83 years, of which 58 years of missionary life
in Zaïre (Congo), Ghana, Zambia, Ethiopia and in Germany.
Let us pray for him and for his loved ones.
Milestones of Brother Christian Schneider’s life
Christian was born on the 24th July 1934 at Neisse in the Diocese of Rottenburg in Germany. He entered the Spiritual Year on the 4th August 1957 at Langenfeld (Germany), and continued his studies at Hörstel where he took his temporary Missionary Oath – as it was the rule at that time for the Brother candidates – on the 9th August 1959. He was then sent to Africa where he took his Perpetual Missionary Oath on the 8th August 1965 at Mutesa (Zaïre).
