Algeria: Christians given to the Church (KTO) Posted on 21/05/202121/05/2021 by Vitus Danaa AboboAlgeria: Christians given to the ChurchA programme of KTO TV (French Catholic TV)Twenty-five years ago, the monks of Tibhirine were murdered for having chosen to stand by the Algerian people during the “black decade”, the wave of Islamist terrorism that devastated Algeria in the 1990s and claimed between 100,000 and 200,000 victims. To remember the Christians who have given to the Church in Algeria, from yesterday to today, we have the joy of receiving Mgr Claude Rault, Bishop Emeritus of Laghouat-Ghardaïa.
