Etienne Desmarescaux
on Tuesday the 3rd October 2017 at Pau-Billère (France)
at the age of 90 years, of which 65 years of missionary life
in Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria and France.
Let us pray for him and for his loved ones.
Milestones of Father Etienne Desmarescaux’s life
Etienne was born on the 17th June 1927 at Winnezeele, in the Diocese of Lille in Northern France. He began his spiritual year on the 1st October 1947 at Maison-Carrée in Algeria. He then continued his theological formation at Thibar (Tunisia) whre he took his Missionary Oath on the 27th June 1952 and was ordained to the priesthood on the 5th April 1953 at Carthage (Tunisia).
