at the age of 75 years, of which 49 years of missionary life
in Italy, Rwanda, Tunisia, Algeria and in Switzerland.

Milestones of Father Gaetano Scremin’s life

Gaetano was born on the 13th March 1942 in Valdagno, in the Diocese of Vicenza, in Northern Italy.  On the 11th September 1963, he entered the Spiritual Year in Gap, in France. He then continued his theological training in Heverlee, in Belgium, where he took his Missionary Oath on the 27th June 1968. He was ordained to the priesthood on the 29th 1969 in Cornedo, in his native Diocese.
