on Monday the 23rd October 2017 at the Hospital of Weert (The Netherlands)
at the age of 79 years, of which 53 years of missionary life
in Tanzania and in the Netherlands.

Jalons de vie du Père Jan Franse
Jan was born on the 15th February at Eindhoven, in the diocese of ‘s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. He entered the Spiritual Year on the 11th September 1960 at Broomehall (Ned). He took his Missionary Oath on the 28th June 1964 at Heverlee when he was studying theology, before being ordained to the priesthood in his native town on the 3rd July 1965.
