Another acronym, another beast!
It stands for: General Data Protection Regulation GDPR. It is a EU Law that will come into force on the 25th of May 2018.
If you do not know it, I suggest that you browse through the Net and that in turn you consult your Legal Advisor to help you understand if and how your organisation can be impacted.
Out of hand here are some areas that need protection:
- The data concerning your employees
- The data concerning your Benefactors
- Sensitive Data such as State of health of persons and their state of fragility
- Data having a personal feature: infringement of the law, sentence
