VIEW FROM OUR LAND AT KITABI
Dear Friends, we thank the Lord who inspired Archbishop Paul Bakyenga to donate to the Missionaries of Africa 10 acres of Land to build up our permanent “ home “ in his Diocese – Mbarara.
This land is being registered in the name of “The Registered Trustees of the Society of the Missionaries of Africa ( White Fathers )” with our own land title, and the place will be called Bp. Lacoursiere House. We have now to fence it, build a small “caretakers’ House” and plant trees. The just finished tarmac road lshaka — Kagamba passes at our fence, lshaka Hospital is 6 km away and Kabale, Kasese and Fort Portal is in easy reach.
A treasure for all of us Missionaries of Africa. Yes a treasure, but also a responsibility. We have to use this land and make it productive and accessible for all of us. We know, that it may take time before we can start building something, but in the meantime we can plant a nice forest.
