Episcopal ordination of John MacWilliam

On Saturday 20th of May 2017, our confrere, John MacWilliam, was ordained bishop by Archbishop Michael Fitzgerald, MAfr, at Worth Abbey in England, where John had completed high school.

John was indeed appointed Bishop of Laghouat-Ghardaïa, succeeding Claude Rault, M.Afr., who had resigned several months ago, having reaching the limit age of activity as bishop. John preferred to receive episcopal ordination in England rather than in Algeria where visas take a long time to be granted.

Bro. Victor Dery’s funerals at Tamale (Ghana)

Today in Tamale, it is a day of grief, but also a day of solidarity and a day of celebration… For the last 9 years, our confrere, Bro. Victor Dery,  worked most of the time in the shadow at the General House, to make sure everything was in order and to answer kindly the “technical” requests of the confreres. The video will give you a feel of what is going on today in Tamale. Following will be a few pictures of our confreres giving their last brotherly respect to Victor. The video and the photos are from the confreres of the Province Ghana-Nigeria.
