at the age of 90 years, of which 66 years of missionary life
in Burundi, Spain, Congo, Jerusalem, Mexico and France.

Milestones in Father Armand Duval’s life

Armand was born on 20 February in Vezin-le-Coquet, on the outskirts of Rennes, in Brittany (France).  He entered the novitiate (Spiritual Year) of the Missionaries of Africa on April 6, 1949 at Maison Carrée, Algeria. Then he continued his theological studies in Thibar (Tunisia) where he took his missionary oath on June 27, 1952. He received the priestly ordination the following year, on April 5, in Carthage (Tunisia).
